Watch: Capitola Mall Skate Contest
Local skaters competed to raise money for the Capitola Skate Park in late July.
All has been quiet on the front for what seems like months now. The Capitola City Council , and a new mock up has yet to be presented at City Hall.
But the volunteers backing the park are still hard at work trying to make it happen. Late last month they put on a skate competition at the Capitola Mall to raise funds for the proposed park.
