Aptos Grad Bobby Crocker Slumps in Second Week in A's Farm System

Crocker was drafted in the fourth round by the Oakland A's in June.

After a that matched his stellar high school and college careers at Aptos and Cal Poly respectively, Bobby Crocker has had a tough week in the Rookie Arizona League.

Crocker was  and is now starting in the outfield for the Arizona League Athletics.

In his five games since our , Crocker has hit just 2-19 with three strikeouts, lowering his batting average to .281 (still on the high-side of average).

Having won six of their last eight games, however, the AZL Athletics are no longer in last place in their six-team division. Another bright spot: With Crocker's front-loaded success, he is still third on the team in hits with 16.
