Soquel School District Seeking Replacement Board Member
Cynthia Torres-Ricca has resigned from the school board and a replacement will be named next month.

The Soquel Union Elementary School District is seeking candidates for a position on the school board. The position is vacant due to the resignation of Trustee Cynthia Torres-Ricca.
The Board of Trustees plans to appoint a new member who will serve out Trustee Torres-Ricca’s term (November 2014). Interested individuals may call the Soquel Union Elementary School District Office at 831-464-5639 to request an application. The application deadline is Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, 5 p.m.

Applicants must be 18 years or older, a citizen of the State of California, a district resident and a registered voter. The District will confirm this information. The Board will interview candidates at an open public special board meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012. After the interviews and during the meeting, the Board will appoint the Board member who will serve until November, 2014, the end of the term.
