Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance/Probation Violation: A man was arrested on the 2500 block of Thurber Lane in Soquel at 12:05 a.m.

Threatening and Resisting an Officer: A man was arrested in the 7-11 parking lot at 30th Avenue and Portola Drive at 12:15 p.m. He was originally contacted for urinating in public. On the way to Santa Cruz County Jail, the man made threats to the officer, trying to be released. Later he had to be taken to the ground for further threats.
Possession of Narcotics for Sale: A man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale at 827 Bay Avenue at 12:34 p.m.

Petty Theft with Prior Conviction: A man was arrested for stealing from Best Buy in Soquel at 7:50 p.m. Stolen items were also found in his vehicle.
Inflicting Corporal Injury on Cohabitant: 1500 block, 42nd Avenue, 12:11 p.m.
DUI: Grace Street and 42nd Avenue, 11:15 p.m.
Petty Theft: 1400 block, 41st Avenue, 8:07 p.m.
Battery: 200 block, Washburn Avenue, 10:18 a.m.
May 2:
Resisting Arrest/Drunk in Public: Lawrence Avenue and Hill Street, 8:30 p.m.
Misrepresenting as Access Card Holder: 5000 block, Garnet Street, 8 a.m.

Copper Wire Theft:

April 30:
Possession of Concentrated Cannabis/Petty Theft: A juvenile male was arrested on the 1800 block of 41st Avenue at 12:49 p.m.
Petty Theft: Items were stolen from a car on the 3500 block of Clares Street at 6:29 p.m.
Drunk in Public: 4150 Soquel Drive, 11:07 p.m.
