Police Blotter: Nintendo Theft in Soquel

June 17:

Battery with Serious Bodily Inury: Cole Charles Clemons was beaten by unknown suspects in a restaurant parking lot at 2730 41st Ave. in Soquel at 12 a.m. He was transported to the hospital and received stitches for his injuries. 

Possession of Controlled Substance: Michael Shane Eaton was stopped on his bicycle at 2335 Soquel Dr. at 1:28 a.m. for not having a light. He was then deemed under the influence and found to have a meth pipe and .03 grams of the drug.

Petty Theft: 1400 block, 41st Avenue, 2:36 p.m.

June 14:

Evading Police Officer: Several teens .

Petty Theft: 1800 block, 41st Avenue, 1:41 p.m.

DUI: Robert E. Byrne, 65, of Capitola, was arrested by Capitola PD.

Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale/Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia: Karina Garcia, 33, of Soquel, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department. 

June 13:

Possession of Controlled Substance/Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia/Failure to Appear on Misdemeanor Charge: Armina R. Hitchcock, 38, of Capitola, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department. 

June 12:

Shooting at Uninhabited Dwelling: Five shots were fired, leaving five holes in the residence at 2621 Capitola Ave. in Soquel at 2 a.m. 

Vandalism under $1000: 400 block, Capitola Avenue, 2:12 a.m.

June 11:

Nintendo Theft: A suspect forced his mother's locked bedroom door open and took her Nintendo and video games at 4950 E Walnut Ave. in Soquel at 12 a.m. 

Burglary/Under the Influence of Controlled Substance/Possession of Hypodermic Needle: A female was arrested on the 4000 block of Capitola Road at 4:01 p.m.

Driving with Suspended License: Michael I. Hrica, 43, of Capitola, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department. 

Possession of Hypodermic Needle/Possession of Drug without Prescription: Christopher Nielsen, 26, of Soquel, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department. 

Possession of Hypodermic Needle/Possession of Controlled Substance: Tessa M. Reis, 35, of Soquel, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department.
