The vast majority of crimes over the last seven days were related to drugs and alcohol.

July 10:

Inflicting Corporal Injury on Spouse: Stanley L. Galiszewsky, 54, of Soquel, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department.

Grand Theft Exceeding $950: A purse, credit cards, driver's license and camera, valued at $1500, were stolen from an unlocked car at 4437 Esta Ln in Soquel at 8 p.m.

Drugs (Violation of Probation): Anthony Taylor Stull was arrested after testing positive for opiates, heroin and methamphetamines at 3595 Thurber Ln. in Soquel at 10:15 p.m.

Driving with Suspended License: Ryan M. Bloesch, 33, of Capitola, was arrested by Santa Cruz PD.

Drunk in Public: Edward Schwintosky, 50, of Soquel, was arrested by Santa Cruz PD.

July 8:

DUI: Zachary T. Moody, 26, of Soquel, was arrested by Santa Cruz PD.

July 7:

Drunk in Public: Sage J. Roberts, 35, of Capitola, was arrested by Santa Cruz PD.

July 6:

Drunk in Public: Michael Hasan Dabecic was arrested at 5075 Soquel San Jose Rd. at 10:57 p.m.

July 5:

Drunk in Public: Thomas P. Bigbee was drunk and sleeping on someone else's property at 5600 Soquel Dr. in Soquel at 10:20 a.m.

Misrepresentation as Cardholder: 1800 block, 41st Avenue, 2:59 p.m.

Refusing to Leave after Being Asked by a Police Officer: Joshua Andrew Nay was arrested after repeatedly being asked to leave Dominican Hospital at 7 p.m.

Petty Theft: Rosa Garcia, 70, of Capitola, was arrested by Santa Cruz PD.

July 4: 

Drunk in Public: A man was arrested on Capitola Beach at 11:42 a.m.

DUI: A man was arrested at a previously-advertised sobriety checkpoint in front of Capitola Mall on 41st Avenue at  9:16 p.m.
