August 26:

Repeated Annoying Phone Calls: A prank caller was reported from a residence on the 1700 block of 46th Avenue at 1:02 a.m.

Hit and Run with Property Damage: 500 block, Bay Avenue, 5:01 a.m.

Petty Theft: A male was cited on the 1400 block of 41st Avenue at 3:57 p.m.

Commercial Burglary: A male was arrested on the Esplanade at 6:20 p.m.

Public Intoxication: Spencer M. Sargent, 25, of Soquel, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department.

Commercial Burglary: Esplanade, 6:07 p.m.

Assault with Deadly Weapon (not firearm): Beulah Drive, 2:25 p.m.

August 25:

Petty Theft: A vehicle was broken into on the 1000 block of 41st Avenue at 8:39 a.m.

Petty Theft: A subject was arrested on the 1400 block of 41st Avenue at 6:20 p.m.

Residential Burglary: 100 Block, Washburn Avenue, 6:46 p.m.

Assault with Force Likely to Produce Great Bodily Injury: Gregory G. Haglio, 18, of Capitola, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department.

August 24:

Vehicle Theft: Richard Souza of Scotts Valley was arrested for stealing a vehicle at Soquel Drive and Park Avenue in Soquel at 7:51 a.m. He is being held on $50,000 bail.

Possession of Controlled Substance/Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia: Matthew Sallee, 39, of Watsonville was arrested at 2178 41st Ave. at 4:14 p.m. and is being held on $5,000 bail.

Petty Theft: Two males were arrested for shoplifting from the Capitola Mall at 1:34 p.m.

Public Intoxication: 800 block, Bay Avenue, 8:27 p.m.

Commercial Burglary: 1800 block, 41st Avenue, 4:21 p.m.

August 23:

Battery on Cohabitant: Robert F. Gairrity, 73, of Soquel, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department.

Public Intoxication: Two males were arrested at Stockton Avenue and Capitola Avenue and taken to county jail at 1:12 a.m.

Vandalism under $1000: A vehicle window was broken on the 1900 block of 46th Avenue at 5:28 a.m.

Indecent Exposure after Illegally Entering Occupied Dwelling: Hector P. Chavez, 23, of Soquel, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department.

Vandalism under $1000: 4400 block, Jade Street, 7:47 a.m.
