When they arrived, they found a man choking his wife, prompting Deputy Pat Dimick to use a taser to get him off of her. Dimick then took the man into custody, according to Sheriff's Deputy April Skalland.

Shortly before 7 a.m., the man, Christopher Lindner, 45, had stabbed his 13-year-old daughter inside her mouth and also slashed his 36-year-old wife's face with a knife. The daughter was able to escape to a community bathroom in the RV park where she called 911 with her cell phone, Skalland said.

Lindner, who is disabled and does not work, will likely be in court for a preliminary hearing by the end of the week, according to Skalland.
