Capitola Bank Robber Continues Spree in San Jose, Police Suspect

Alex Wells has yet to be caught after a third robbery in the last week.

San Jose Police believe that Alex Wells, the man suspected of the and , has robbed another bank this week on E. San Fernando Street in San Jose.

Wells, 25, is a transient without a known address. The tactics in each of the three robberies match: a man enters the bank, hands the teller a note, and flees with cash without showing a weapon.

The suspect of the third robbery, not known for sure to be Wells, was last seen fleeing on foot toward E. San Fernando Street Tuesday morning.

Wells is described as five-foot-ten, 180 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
