Earthquake Recap: Two Shakes Around County
Did you feel either of the small earthquakes this week?
Two small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale around Santa Cruz County this week, with the largest measured at 1.9, two miles north of Aptos
Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either earthquake on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
