Two small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale in and around Santa Cruz County this week, with the largest measured at 2.0, offshore directly west of Ben Lomond.
Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either of the earthquakes in Santa Cruz County this week on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
