Earthquake Recap: 2.6 Near Morgan Hill Rumbles Locally

Did you feel any of the earthquakes in and around the county this week?

Three small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale in and around Santa Cruz County this week, with the largest measured at 2.6 near Morgan Hill.

Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, 10 people reported feeling the 2.6 in Morgan Hill on the U.S. Geological Survey website, including one person in Santa Cruz.
