Two Capitola Restaurants Named Top 20 Most Romantic in the World

One of the Internet's leading travel websites is helping promote Capitola fine dining by recognizing two local favorites as worldwide standouts.

In a recently published list of the 2013 Travelers' Favorite Romantic Restaurants in the World, the Shadowbrook Restaurant placed fifth and Paradise Beach Grille came in 18th.

Gogobot described the Shadowbrook as "an Old World restaurant serving a classic, sophisticated menu ... reached by cable car or an uphill garden stroll."

Paradise Beach Grille is touted on the site as having "Tuscan decor and a variety of carefully sourced meat and fish in a casual, fun, family-run oceanside setting."

The most romantic eatery in all the land, according to the list, is Mama's Fish House in Paia, Hawaii. Just over the hill in Saratoga, La Fondue made the list at number 16.
