Did you know that June 24 is Take Your Dog to Work Day?
The holiday was created by Pet Sitters International in 1999. It celebrates the great friends that canines make, and it is meant to be a day of encouragement to adopt dogs from shelters.
There are currently 27 dogs at the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter waiting for you to take them home and subsequently to work.
