Come play at the park and teach your children about giving at the same time. Have them either donate a backpack of their own or take them shopping to let them pick one out.
In what is now our 8th consecutive year, my kids and I are once again collecting backpacks and $35 donations in order to provide fully stuffed backpacks to homeless and low-income children in Santa Cruz County.
How you can help:
1. Donate a gently used or new backpack

3. Donate left over marketing or event items for inside the backpack, including key rings, water bottles, pens, and pads of paper!
