City Rocks Headlining Capitola Concert Wednesday

The Bay Area group is back in the Village once again this summer.

Part six of Capitola's 11-week  is rolling through Esplanade Park Wednesday night, with a performance from City Rocks, sponsored by .

The show is from 6-8 p.m. and is free.

City Rocks, according to the band's official website, "is a music revue that highlights the legendary rock songs and groups of the San Francisco Bay Area, 1965-1985."

The group uses medleys and colorful costumes to get through the setlist, which includes dance numbers and interaction with the audience.

Marcus Salomon, the group's lead vocalist, started City Rocks in 2006 after experimenting with the genre in Las Vegas and Reno. They now play summer festivals throughout the area.
