Soquel High's Sam Walters Named Co-Player of the Year
Walters helped the Knights win their first SCCAL title since the 2007-2008 season.
Soquel High boys basketball player Sam Walters and Aptos’ Cole Welle received co-Player of the Year honors, the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League announced Tuesday.
Walters averaged 10.72 points per basketball game, and helped the Knights win their first SCCAL title since the 2007-2008 season, the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported.
The Knights celebrated their victory last Saturday at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, Capitola-Soquel Patch reported.
