In this four hour workshop, beloved local columnist and author will help you turn a memory into a polished first person essay. Bring photos to inspire you and together we’ll begin to write the story behind the picture.  We will also use the publication "Memoir (and)" as a teaching tool, discussing the different forms of memoir, poetry as well as prose. Claudia Sternbach is a former Santa Cruz Sentinel columnist, Editor in Chief of the literary journal Memoir (and) and author of Reading Lips: Aa Memoir of Kisses.
