Wellness Lecture: Understanding Food Sensitivities
Food intolerance is a common health obstacle for many, and is different from food allergies. Even foods like apples, lettuce and chicken are problematic for some people. Symptoms may not be obvious, other times sensitivities show up as migraines, fatigue, sleep problems, skin conditions, and mood disturbance. Chef and author Rebecca Rovay-Hazelton will discuss how food intolerance develops, how food intolerance may develop into more serious health conditions if left untreated, and accurate testing options.
