Some of the usual suspects will be discussed by the Capitola City Council.

There are some topics that the Capitola City Council just can't shake. For decades, the Rispin Mansion has been one of those topics.

  • The council is expected to approve  a development plan for the Rispin Mansion and accept the property title.
  • A discussion on the hotel tax will be continued from the last meeting. The tax will either remain at 10 percent, or the council will direct staff to prepare a resolution that would raise the tax.
  • Mayor Mike Termini will make a proclamation honoring Big Brothers Big Sisters' 30th Anniversary in Santa Cruz County.
  • The council will continue a discussion from two meetings ago about a house that has been proposed to be built in the Depot Hill neighborhood. The new design of the house is expected to be up to code.
