Help Plan Rispin Park at Public Meeting on Wednesday

Rispin Park is in its planning stages with help from the Capitola-Soquel public.

The city of Capitola is asking for public input in the planning of Rispin Park, which is set to replace the historic Rispin Mansion, a building that mysteriously burned in 2009.

To get the residential feedback they are looking for, the city will host a daylong planning workshop.

According to an official release from the city, "the workshop will be devoted to developing a master plan for Rispin Park and to conduct a design charrette that will engage participants in the brainstorming of design ideas to be explored for the park."

A public workshop will follow those interviews at the Capitola Community Center on Jade Street from 6-8:30 p.m.
