City Council to Welcome Police Chief, Discuss Half Marathon

The Capitola City Council has an array of agenda items to discuss Thursday evening.

  • The council will discuss how to allocate the remaining $137,000 in community grants.
  • The results of a public opinion poll will be presented, showing residents' opinion on local government. 
  • Public Works Director Steve Jesberg will update the council on the state of the Capitola Wharf after last month's high surf that did significant structural damage. 
  • An event permit will be discussed to allow the Capitola Half Marathon on May 20.
