City Council Preview: SmartMeters and Police Promotions on the Agenda

Considering the big government-related news coming through Capitola this week, with , the Capitola City Council meeting agenda for tonight is rather tame.

With no formal agenda item pertaining to FEMA, expect plenty of questions in the public comments/oral communications section.

• Curtis and Susan Trossey will be presented with the Capitola Green Building Award for their home located at 607 Sunset Dr.

• The Capitola Police department will present the new promotions of Sergeant Andy Dalley and officers Kraig Evans and Daniel Weagle.

• The Council will touch on the ordinance against SmartMeters after having received this report on the health hazards, or perhaps lack thereof, that they pose to the public.
