City Council Preview: Mr. Kebab Take-Out Window on the Table

Tonight's Capitola City Council meeting is set to cover a number of issues, including the possibility of a new sidewalk take-out window on the Esplanade, which was previously denied.

  • The Council is expected to award a contract to Overland Pacific & Cutler to prepare a Relocation Impact Report and Relocation Plan for Pacific Cove Mobile Home Park. 
  • They will approve an eight-hour increase in Public Works crew personal holiday time for all the extra hours put in during the March floods.
  • The Council will consider a request by the Capitola Junior Lifeguard Parents Club for a Special Event Permit, to hold the 2nd Annual Tola Fest Celebration on Friday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Capitola Beach.
  • There will be a public hearing to consider the appeal of a Planning Commission denial to allow a take-out window at Mr. Kebab, located at 201 Esplanade.
