City Council Preview: Council to Vote on Required Improvements to Rispin Property

Starting at 7 p.m., council members will discuss issues ranging from the iconic Rispin mansion property to the fate of the city's Redevelopment Agency.

  • Rispin Property Hazard Abatement Project: On the consent agenda, council members will look over an updated report detailing required improvements to the Rispin property. With an approval of 4/5 vote, the council will determine that all hazards at the property have not been rectified and will vote for continued action.
  • RDA, Urgency Ordinance: The council and Redevelopment Agency will have a public hearing where they'll be considering the adoption of an "urgency ordinance," and other resolutions that would allow for the Redevelopment Ageny's continued existence in the city.
  • New City Skateboarding Ordinances: The city will consider adopting ordinances that would amend the city's skateboarding regulations. 
  • New Cable Franchise Agreement: The council will consider a transfer of cable franchise agreement with Charter Communications Properties.
