Two Arrested on Methamphetamine Charges in Aptos

Julian Matthews and Courtney Terry were arrested on Wednesday.

After serving a domestic violence arrest warrant to Julian Matthews, 31, of Aptos, on Wednesday, Santa Cruz sheriff's deputies found the man and a female at his Loma Prieta Drive residence, both in possession of methamphetamine. 

The woman, Courtney Terry, 26, "had symptoms of drug influence and was found to be in possession of .2 grams of methamphetamine," according to an official release from the sheriff's department. 

While he was being arrested for domestic violence, over a gram of the drug was found in Matthews' pocket. He was booked into jail on domestic violence charges, with a bail of $20,000 as well as possession of methamphetamine.

Terry was charged with possession as well as being under the influence.
