Services Held for Luis Duran; Murder Investigation Continues

Services were Thursday morning for Luis Duran, .

Sheriff's Lt. Fred Plageman said no suspects have been identified and no arrests made in what detectives have characterized as a gang-motivated slaying.

Duran was shot several times at close range on Manfre Road late Friday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

"We're investing time and resources in this case," said Plageman, who heads the investigation division at the Sheriff's Office.
