Reward Offered for Info on Elusive Fugitive

Dmitri Storm has been on a rampage from Big Sur up to Sonoma County over the last month, but police can't catch him.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday it is offering a $500 reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of Dmitri Storm.

Storm, 42, is wanted for wreaking havoc on Central California for the duration of April.

He was spotted the following week in Sonoma County, where he threatened to kill two CHP officers.

Days later, Storm was seen in Boulder Creek prowling around vacation rental homes.

By the weekend of April 20, Storm had led police on a chase down Highway 1 into Monterey County and Big Sur, and was able to escape once again. 

The sheriff's office DOES NOT want anyone attempting to capture Storm on their own. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who spots Storm should call 911 immediately.
