Porsche Carrera Stolen During Aptos Burglary

The stolen Porsche and other valuable items were stolen early Saturday morning, the car was then later dumped in Watsonville.

 

A Porsche was stolen from a home in Aptos during a burglary early Saturday morning and then abandoned, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office.

The Porsche Carrera was stolen in a burglary that occurred between 3 and 7 a.m. today at a home on the 300 block of Kingsbury Drive, according to Deputy April Skalland.

Numerous other valuable items were also taken at the same time. The stolen Porsche was later found in an open field in Watsonville, on the 1100 block of Buena Vista Drive.

The Sheriff's Office is investigating the burglary, and is asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Kingsbury area to contact the department at (831) 471-1121.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious in their neighborhood should call the Sheriff's Office immediately. Doing so can help solve and prevent crimes in the community, Skalland said.
