Police ID Serial Bank Robber Who Hit Up Capitola Chase in September

Chase Bank in Capitola was robbed in September by John White.

Even a lady's a wig couldn't stop cops from identifying the man they believe  as John White, 35, of Prunedale. 

According to KSBW, White is a serial bank robber who also hit up establishments in Marina and Prunedale, again dressed in women's garb. It took collaboration from local agencies as well as FBI assistance to name White as the suspected robber. 

In his , White claimed to have a bomb strapped to his person, which he threatened to set off if the clerk did not hand over cash.

At the time of his identification, it was found that White was already in Monterey County Jail for an unrelated parole violation and theft charges, KSBW reports.
