Police Force Their Way Into An Apartment

A Capitola man briefly escapes from officers but is later arrested in his apartment.

The Capitola police department made another arrest on Friday after they recognized a man who was wanted with a felony warrant for narcotic violations in Santa Clara County.

Jeffery Swall, 43, from Capitola was spotted in the Village by officers but managed to escape before he took refuge in his apartment on the 100 block of Capitola Avenue.

Swall refused to come out and Capitola police officers forced entry into his residence where he was arrested without further incident and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
