Police Blotter: Probation Violation and Shoplifting Consistent Throughout Week

More shoplifting and probation violations have consumed the week so far.

Wednesday:

3:18 a.m. - A soquel man was arrested for violating probation terms at 3121 N. Main Street. The male walked about from a deputy during a prowling call, despite commands from the deputy to stop. He was later contacted on private property, resisted arrest and was drunk in public.

12:00 a.m. - Unknown hospice workers stole 30 cc's of morphine from a patient's home in Aptos.

4:10 p.m. - An adult male was cited and released for shoplifing at Safeway at 16 Rancho Del Mar in Aptos.

Monday:

1:45 a.m. - A man was cited and released for petty theft at 30th Avenue.

4:03 a.m. - A man was arrested for vehicle theft, probation violation and being under the influence of a controlled substance at the 3200 Block of Papenmill Road in Aptos.

4:17 a.m. - A Soquel male was cited and released for DUI and drugs at Park Avenue at Soquel Drive.

5:38 p.m. - A male was cited and released for disorderly conduct at 3715 Portola Ave.

8:35 p.m. - An adult male was reported missing. An adult male mental health patient walked away from a community mental health facility at 3035 Prather Lane in Soquel.

Sunday:

3:56 a.m.—A man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance and probation violation on 38th Avenue.

4:43 a.m.—A man was arrested and released for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance without prescription on 38th Avenue at Brommer Street.

Saturday:

6:39 a.m.—A man was cited and released for being under the influence of a controlled substance at Brommer Street Park.

12:20 a.m.—A man was cited for assault with a deadly weapon or instrument, as he intentionally and repeatedly rammed his vehicle into a victim's vehicle. The arrestee was reported to be under the influence of meth and in possession of a meth pipe.

11:15 p.m. - Unknown suspects attempted to pry the door of a residence at 113 Tierra Alta Drive in Aptos.

12:11 p.m.—Two female subjects were cited and released for petty theft in the 1800 Block of 41st Avenue.

Friday:

2:05 a.m.—A person was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing a hypo needle/syringe and probation violation at 1009 38th Avenue.

5:06 a.m.—A man was cited and released for disorderly conduct in Capitola.

1:40 p.m.—A woman was arrested and released for possessing 28.5 grams of marijuana and for prostitution on Capitola Road at 42nd Avenue.

1:51 p.m.—An incident of vehicle burglary occurred at Pacific Cove Parking lot at the 400 block of Capitola Avenue.

Thursday:

10:01 p.m.—An unknown subject stole more than $500 worth of undergarments from Victoria's Secret at the 1800 block of 41st Avenue.
