Resisting a Police Officer/Battery/Disorderly Conduct/Challenging a Fight in Public: Two people were arrested at 12:19 a.m.

August 13:

Petty Theft: A male and female were cited on the 4000 block of Capitola Road at 5:54 p.m.

August 12:

Petty Theft: A skateboard, camera and car keys, valued at $280.00, were stolen from a party at 4469 Ranchero Rd. in Soquel at 12 a.m.

Vehicle Theft: 400 block, Rosedale Court, 1:22 a.m.

August 11:

Petty Theft: A stop sign was stolen from Oak Drive and Riverview Drive at 11:43 p.m. The thief was caught and cited.

Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia: Christopher Nielsen of Soquel was arrested by Watsonville PD.

August 10:

Vandalism: Esplanade and Monterey Avenue, 6:21 a.m.

Commercial Burglary: A business on the 3500 block of Clares Street was broken into and reported at 8:12 a.m.

Vandalism under $1000: The rear passenger window was broken of a car on the 2100 block of Wharf Avenue at 2:32 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A male was arrested on the 1900 block of 41st Avenue at 6:43 p.m.

Vehicle Burglary: 1900 block, 41st Avenue, 7:15 p.m.

Petty Theft: 1800 block, 41st Avenue, 2:32 p.m.

Public Intoxication: Alex Olivera, 31, of Capitola, was arrested by Santa Cruz PD.

Public Intoxication: Gerald L. Hunt, 45, of Capitola, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department.

August 9:

Petty Theft: A bike was stolen from the Capitola Mall at 4:04 p.m.

Possession of Dangerous Weapon: A male was arrested at Bay Avenue and Highway 1 at 11:21 p.m.

Petty Theft: 4100 block, Jade Street, 3:42 p.m.

Assault: Gina L. Sumwalt, 40, of Capitola, was arrested by Capitola PD.

August 8:

Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalia/Use of Controlled Substance/False Report of Emergency: Charles E. Porter, 52, of Capitola, was arrested on the 4600 block, Capitola Road, 12:52 a.m.

Pass a Fictitious Check: A purchase was made with a check from a closed checking account on the 800 block of Bay Avenue at 1:21 p.m.

Assault: Christopher Anderson, 20, of Capitola, was arrested by Santa Cruz PD.

DUI: Amanda K. Kostyushkin, 31, of Soquel, was arrested by Santa Cruz CHP.
