Police Blotter: Shoplifters and Drunks

Also, the Sheriff's Office reported a shoplifter tried to hit up the same store twice in two days. He needed accessories for the stolen goods.

Capitola Police Reports
June 3
Shoplifting: A thief was ticketed on the 800 block of Bay Avenue. 

June 2
Domestic Violence: A man was arrested on the 400 block of Capitola Avenue.

Theft: A backpack was stolen in the Capitola Village. 

Shoplifting: It happened on the 1800 block of 41st Avenue. One person was arrested.

June 1
Drunk in Public: One person was arrested on the Esplanade. 

May 31
Drunk in Public: One person was arrested on the the 1400 block of 38th Avenue. 

Warrant Arrest: A man and a woman were both arrested for warrants on the 1000 block of 38th Avenue.

Sheriff's Reports
June 7 
Commercial Burglary: A Go Pro camera was stolen from Best Buy on 41st Avenue. The shoplifter then came back the following day and tried to steal accessories for the camera. 

June 6
Vandalism: Graffiti was reported at Soquel Elementary School.
