Possession of Controlled Substance: Jennifer D. Chaplin, 26, of Soquel, was arrested by Santa Cruz PD.

Illegal Discharge of Sewage: A subject was arrested on the 400 block of Capitol Avenue for urinating in public at 1:30 a.m.

Petty Theft with Prior Conviction: David James Rahul entered Safeway in Soquel at 5:45 p.m. and stole multiple items without paying, which he has been known to do in the past.

Grand Theft (Money/Labor/Property, over $950)/Receiving Stolen Property/Parole Hold: A male was arrested on the 2100 block of 41st Avenue at 12:19 a.m.

Disorderly Conduct: A male was found intoxicated at 4768 Soquel Dr. and was taken to jail at 3:34 p.m.

June 20:

Assault with Deadly Weapon: Charles Shawn Rowe was shot with a BB or pellet gun at 7:06 p.m. .

Trespassing by Driving on Private Property: Mark A., Stevens, 44, of Soquel, was arrested by Santa Cruz PD.

Use of Controlled Substance: A person was transported to Dominican Hospital from the 1700 block of 44th Avenue at 4:26 p.m. for a possible overdose.
