Police Blotter: Public Intoxication and Grand Theft

August 8:

Threatening Crime with intent to terrorize. Exhibiting a deadly weapon and probation violation. Chistopher L. Anderson, 20, of Capitola was arrested on Frazier Lewis Lane by Santa Cruz PD.

Battery: Gina L. Sumwalt, 40, of Capitola was arrested by the Capitola PD.

DUI/Drugs: Amanda K. Kostyushkin, 31, of Soquel, was arrested on Soquel Avenue by CHP.

August 7:

Disorderly Conduct with Alcohol: Joshua Blenkinsop, 21, of Soquel was cited and released by Santa Cruz PD.

Threatening Crime with the Intent to Terrorize: A male was choked and threatened on Stockton Bridge in Capitola. No suspect information is available.

August 6:

Possession of a Controlled Substance and Probation Violation: A female was arrested on the 1400 block of 41st Avenue for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic needle, theft and probation violation. She was booked into county jail.

August 5:

Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Probation Violation: A male was arrested for being under the influence of a stimulant. He was transported and booked into county jail for violating probation.

Possession of a Controlled Substance: Two subjects were arrested at the 200 block of 41st Avenue for possessing methamphetamine.

August 4:

Public Intoxication: Michael K. Pollock, 73, of Aptos, was arrested on the 1500 block of Pacific Avenue.

Theft: Albert Gonzales, 28, of Capitola, was arrested on the 200 block of Water Street.

Public Intoxication: Rebecca J. Pinsley, 32, of Soquel, was cited and released on the 600 block of Cabrillo Park Court.

Vehicle Burglary and Vandalism: A vehicle was burglarized and vandalized at the intersection of Grace Street and Wharf Road.

Burglary: A male was arrested for burglary at the 1400 block of 41st Avenue.

August 3:

Public Intoxication: Nicholas S. Duncan, 31, of Capitola, was arrested by the Santa Cruz PD.

Marijuana Confiscation: Marijuana plants were confiscated at the 700 block of Bay Avenue. The plants were booked into the Capitola Police Department's evidence locker.

August 2:

Forgery/Grand Theft: Ricardo B. Monjaraz, 36, of Capitola, was arrested by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department.  

Public Intoxication: A male was arrested at 41st Avenue and Gross Road 4:55 p.m.

DUI: A male was arrested at Younger Avenue and Monterey Avenue at 11:36 p.m.

August 1:

Public Intoxication: Two adult males were arrested in the 800 block of Bay Avenue at 9:23 p.m.
