Jan. 20:

Possession of a Controlled Substance: A man was stopped on a bike at 12 a.m. for not having a rear reflector. He was found to have 0.1 grams of heroin and 0.2 grams of methamphetamine on his person.

Petty Theft: 4000 block, Capitola Road, 3:29 p.m.

Burlgary: 400 block, Plum Street, 6:42 p.m.

Jan. 19:

Residential Burglary: 5700 block, Soquel-San Jose Road, 8 p.m.

Petty Theft: 4400 block, Clares Street, 10:27 a.m.

Petty Theft: 1900 block, Wharf Road, 11:42 a.m. 

Jan. 18:

Assault with a Deadly Weapon: A man was in the parking lot of the on Soquel Drive at 11 p.m.

Petty Theft: 1900 block, 41st Avenue, 4:52 p.m.

Jan. 17:

Public Intoxication: A male was arrested at Soquel Drive and Fairway Drive in Soquel at 7:54 p.m.

Battery/Public Intoxication: A female was arrested on the 800 block of Laurence Avenue at 12:05 a.m.

Petty Theft: A female was arrested on the 4000 block of Capitola Road at 1:19 p.m.

Hit and Run with Property Damage: An unknown vehicle stuck the median at 41st Avenue and Capitola Road, damaging a sign at 7:06 p.m.

Jan. 16:

Vehicle Theft: A car was stolen from outside a home on the 1900 block of 42nd Avenue at 3:30 a.m.

Pass a Fictitious Check: A female purchased items at in the Capitola Mall using fake traveler's checks. 

Vehicle Burglary: 1300 block, 38th Avenue, 9 p.m.

Petty Theft: 900 block, Sir Francis Avenue, 9 p.m.
