Sept. 9:

Vandalism over $400: Vases were broked on the 300 block of Cherry Avenue at 8:18 p.m.

Public Inoxication: A woman was arrested on San Jose Avenue and Lawn Way at 8:52 p.m.

Sept. 8:

Public Intoxication: A man was arrested on Monterey Avenue and Fanmar Way at 4:49 p.m.

Vandalism over $400: A vehicle was vandalized at 461 Old San Jose Rd. at 12:30 p.m. 

DUI: A woman was arrested on Kennedy Drive at 8:34 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A man was arrested at Capitola Avenue and Beverly Avenue at 9:10 p.m.

Petty Theft: 1800 block, 41st Avenue, 8:34 p.m.

Sept. 7:

Commercial Burglary: Two people attempted to shoplift from Best Buy in Soquel. They were spotted by sheriff's deputies outside the store and led a chase to 26th Avenue and Quartz Drive where they stopped and fled on foot. Both were caught and taken to Santa Cruz County Jail.

Passing Fictitious Checks: Two people were arrested at 3204 Porter St. in Soquel for using counterfeit money and having outstanding warrants at 1:50 a.m.

Battery on Spouse or Cohabitant: 200 block, San Jose Avenue, 8:55 p.m.

Vehicle Burglary: 3200 block, Virgil Lane, 8:40 a.m.

Resisting Arrest/Public Intoxication/Disturbing the Peace: A male was arrested on the 4400 block of Jade Street at 1:17 p.m.

Sept. 6:

Public Intoxication: A juvenile male was arrested on the 1400 block of 41st Avenue at 6:18 p.m.

Petty Theft: 1400 block, 41st Avenue, 6:41 p.m.

Sept. 5:

Possession of Narcotic Controlled Substance/Possession of Controlled Substance Paraphernalis: 4300 block, Clares Street, 8:57 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A man was arrested on 45th Avenue and Diamond Street at 12:59 p.m.

Petty Theft: 2100 block, 41st Avenue, 6 p.m.

Sept. 4: 

DUI/Hit and Run with Property Damage: A woman was arrested on the 700 block of Bay Avenue at 11:04 a.m.

Inflicting Injury Upon Child: 1800 block, 41st Avenue, 6:51 p.m.

Public Intoxication: Michael Stencer was arrested at Sommerfield Street and Capitola Road at 12 a.m.

Sept. 3:

Carrying a Concealed Dagger: for carrying a three-inch blade and a bag of heroin at 18 Rockview Dr. at 3:04 p.m.

Petty Theft: 700 block, Capitola Avenue, 3:37 p.m.
