Police Blotter: Comerica Bank Robbed Twice

Information is provided by the Capitola Police Department and Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

on 41st Avenue was robbed twice in the span of four days last week. The bank is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the prosecution of the robbers. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Investigations at 831-475-4242.

DUI: 100 block, Hollister Avenue, 9:01 a.m.

Dec. 3:

Vandalism: 300 block, Capitola Avenue, 2:20 p.m.

Petty Theft: A bicycle was stolen from the 4100 block of Capitola Road at 5:55 p.m.

Petty Theft: A female was arrested on the 1700 block of 41st Avenue at 7:17 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A female was arrested on the 700 block of Oak Drive at 11:19 p.m.

Dec. 2:

Petty Theft: 1800 block, 41st Avenue, 1:26 p.m.

DUI/Defrauding an Innkeeper/Vandalism: 600 block, Monterey Avenue, 7:16 p.m.

Dec. 1:

Robbery: Comerica Bank on Capitola Avenue was robbed by two masked men at 10 a.m.

Petty Theft: A female was arrested on the 4000 block of Capitola Road at 6:14 p.m.

Petty Theft: A male was arrested on the 1800 block of 41st Avenue at 6:38 p.m.

Nov. 30:

Public Intoxication: 500 block, Capitola Avenue, 12:12 p.m.

Nov. 29:

Petty Theft: 1900 block, Courtyard Drive, 9 a.m.

Possession of Narcotics/Petty Theft: A male was arrested after stealing from a business on the 4000 block of Capitola Road. He was then found with narcotics on his person. 

Nov. 28:

Vandalism: An unknown subject painted on a wall on the 2000 block of Wharf Road at 3:34 a.m.

Robbery: Comerica Bank on 41st Avenue was robbed at 10:34 a.m.

Vehicle Burglary: 900 block, Capitola Court, 4:30 a.m.
