Live Oak Residents Plead No Contest to Drug and Gang Charges

Mark Jerry Foster and Ryan Curtis Chandler will face sentencing on June 6.

Mark Jerry Foster, 30, and Ryan Curtis Chandler, 35, pled no contest on Monday to drug and gang charges from their March 29 arrest, District Attorney Bob Lee has announced.

In Chandler's Live Oak apartment, a backpack was found containing 99 grams of methamphetamine and Chandler's wallet. Foster was also holding drugs on his person inside the apartment. 

According to an official release from the District Attorney's Office, "Chandler pled no contest to charges alleging possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, and admitted a prior conviction for methamphetamine sales."

Foster also pled no contest to methamphetamine possession and involvement with a street gang. 

Chandler and foster face six and two years in state prison respectively.
