Facebook Reunites Photos Stolen By Dimitri Storm with Owner

Storm has been on a rampage of crime through much of the central part of California since the beginning of April.

Dimitri Storm has proven to be an expert in stealing prized possessions, but luckily, he's not always keen on keeping them.

At a press conference last week, Chief Deputy Jim Hart said that Storm often leaves stolen items behind when he abandons stolen cars. Two items that fall into that category are the photos seen above.

Last Tuesday, the sheriff's office posted a photo of the recovered items on its Facebook page with the following caption:

Please help us find the owner of these photos. These are photos Dimitri Storm stole and we have recovered. We would like to get the pictures and the album back to the owners. Please share and message us with any tips.

By the end of the day, the owner of the photos had been found. The first commenter on the photo identified the woman as another parent from her son's preschool.

Not even two hours later, she reported that the owner of the photos "said a photo album was stolen out of her husband's car," and that she was on her way to pick up the album.

Storm, however, still hasn't been found. Anyone who sees him should call 911 right away. The sheriff's office has warned against approaching him because he is considered armed and dangerous.
