Capitola Police Department

Wednesday, Feb. 16

9:10 a.m.—A stolen vehicle was found on the 3000 block of Childers Lane.

4:43 p.m.—A person was cited for stealing from the Capitola Mall.

Thursday, Feb. 17

1:29 a.m.—Someone vandalized property on the 700 block of Bay Avenue.

1:54 a.m.—Someone vandalized property on the 4600 block of Topaz Street.

2:11 a.m.—An underage person was arrested for having stolen property and resisting arrest near the intersection of 45th Avenue and Jade Street.

10:50 a.m.—A man was arrested for shoplifting on the 4000 block of Capitola Road. He was cited and released.

11:03 a.m.—A vehicle burglary was reported on the 4200 block of Grace Street.

5 p.m.—A vehicle was burglarized on the 4600 block of Topaz Street.

11 p.m.—A purse and wallet were reported stolen on the 2100 block of Seven Gables.

Thursday, Feb. 17

10:57 p.m.—A man was arrested for being under the influence at Cabrillo College. He was found on the top level of a parking garage kissing the concrete and rolling around on the ground. Other students had reported him yelling at passers-by.
