Chase Bank Robbed under Bomb Threat by Wig-Wearing Man

A man entered Chase Bank in Capitola Monday morning and demanded cash.

Capitola's was robbed Monday morning of an undisclosed amount of cash following a bomb threat.

According to Capitola police Sgt. Andrew Dally, just before 10 a.m., a male entered the bank, told a female teller he had a bomb strapped to his person and demanded money. She obliged and he left on foot.

The man is described as a six-foot, slender African-American in his 20s wearing a wig.

Police and detectives searched the area, but as of Monday afternoon, have not made any arrests.
