Bryan Stow Released from Hospital to Rehab

The Giants fan beaten on opening day has been transfered to a rehab facility.

Bryan Stow, the Santa Cruz County paramedic who was beaten at Dodger Stadium in March after an opening day game between the Giants and Dodgers, has been transferred from the hospital to a rehab facility, ESPN reported Tuesday.

"Bryan has been an extremely challenging patient," Chief of Neurosurgery Dr. Geoff Manley told ESPN. "It has been a roller coaster, but he is young and strong and has made tremendous advances."

The news comes after it was reported over the last several weeks that Stow had , and that he was for the first time.

According to Stow's family, he has also started to get up but has not yet walked.

Marvin Norwood and Louie Sanchez have both been charged with Stow's beating, and have both pled not guilty.
