Bank Robbery Suspects Still at Large

Sheriffs and investigators believe there could be a link between multiple recent bank robberies.

Although four cars were pulled over and two people were initially detained immediately following the , no arrests have been made in connection to the incident.

The suspects were seen in what the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department described as a four-door Nissan sedan. The description yielded several leads, none of which proved fruitful.

However, several other bank robberies, including a recent one in San Jose, could be linked to the Soquel incident, Sheriff's Deputy April Skalland told Patch on Monday.

According to KION, sheriff's deputies are "working strong leads" in the case.

The amount of money the men made off with has not been disclosed — a common bank safety precaution in such situations.
