Weird Yelp! Reviews: Depot Hill Stairs
Captiola and Soquel's Yelp! reviews include some oddities.
Rating restaurants and dry cleaners seems like the norm on Yelp!, but there are far more entertaining reviews if you delve into the "Local Flavor" section of the website.
No. 1 on the list are the Depot Hill Stairs, the narrow, steep concrete flight that leads out of the Capitola Village and is popular with fitness gurus.
The stairs get four-and-a-half out of five stars for ... something?
"Owwww," Pam S., a visitor from Chicago wrote. "Hurts sooo good."
Yelper X, a user from Hollywood, offered three reason why you might use the stairs, with this addendum: "it will cost you in burn factor every time."
The only under topic under "Local Flavor" for Captiola and Soquel on Yelp! is the Skyview Flea-Market. It got three and a half stars.
