9th Annual Capitola Rod & Custom Classic Car Show

The
Capitola Public Safety and Community Service Foundation (Capitol Foundation) is
hosting the 9th Annual Capitola Rod and Custom Classic Car Show, to be held on

Saturday June 7th and Sunday June 8th in Capitola Village along the Esplanade.

Saturday's program will start 9 am

with a cruise from Santa Cruz Wharf to Capitola Wharf led by classic fire

trucks and police vehicles. Join the fun from 10 am to 5 pm when the Capitola

Village is filled with cool rides from an era of days gone by. This ocean

side-beach event will please everyone from vintage enthusiasts to the style

spectator to all generations bonding over this American hobby. FREE ADMISSION

gives fans a chance to get “up-close and personal” and breathe in the beauty of

each customized unique car or truck.   This

event offers over 50 prizes with trophies,  a raffle and lots of fun. 

Events on Saturday 9 am - 5 pm:

· Sock Hop with the Sparkletones from 2 pm -5 pm at the Bandstand

· Raffle Times: 11am  & 3pm  

· Awards: 4 pm

Sunday's
program will
start with the Village once again filling up with those cool rides of days gone
by.  There is no cruise on Sunday, just

lots of great atmosphere in the heart Capitola-by-the-Sea.  Come enjoy the car,

Events on Sunday 9 am - 2 pm

· Raffle Time: 12  Noon

· Awards: 1:00 PM

Come
out to the beach and check out the mixture of Roadsters, Coupes and Classics along with muscle cars, tricked out street machines, cool rods and sports cars. Do a little shopping in our great boutique stores or have a great meal in one of the many great restaurants.
