Residents all over the county have been reporting outages since early this morning.

Internet, landline and cell phone users in Santa Cruz County are experiencing connectivity issues Tuesday, but a solution is coming.

According to Cruzio, "AT&T has confirmed a major fiber cut in the area and have dispatched technicians out for repair."

Service is supposed to be restored by 4 p.m., if the repairs go as planned. Because of the extent of the damage, an entirely new cable is being installed.
