Earthquake Recap: Two Trembles in County Vicinity

A pair of small earthquakes gently shook Santa Cruz County over the last seven days.

Two small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale in Santa Cruz County this week, hitting with Magnitudes of just 1.4 and 2.0.

Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either of the quakes on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
