Earthquake Recap: Two Small South County Shakes

Did you feel either of the earthquakes last week?

Two small earthquakes made waves on the Richter scale just outside of Santa Cruz County last week, with the largest measured at 1.8, nine miles SSE of Watsonville

Generally, earthquakes that fail to break the 2-mark on the scale are difficult to feel far from the epicenter. As of Saturday evening, no one reported feeling either earthquake on the U.S. Geological Survey website.
